Storytelling

We are spending some time reading and rereading some classic fairy tales and fables.  Students are practicing retelling the story by using magnetic story pieces.

We are artists!

During our fine arts study our Pre-K kiddos experimented with a lot of different types of art.  This includes using bold colors and strong lines like Matisse, sculpting with clay, and using water color like Monet when he painted his famous Water Lilies.

Pre-K Garden Soup

We enjoyed a wonderful lesson at the gardens while we harvested cabbages, onions, broccoli, carrots, chives, and rosemary. We turned our home grown veggies into a yummy soup!

Wonderful Winter

We had a great time learning about winter.  We played with "snow" in the sensory table and made flannel board snowmen!

Yummy Patterns

We practiced AB patterning with slices of strawberries and bananas. We made our own healthy candy canes!

Wonderful Weather

We had to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather before the cold blew in. The butterflies were everywhere!
